The legislator is supporting the implementation of telemedicine in care facilities, particularly televisits, through federal funding of up to 50% until 2028. In many German states, including North Rhine‑Westphalia, Lower Saxony, and Hesse, pilot projects are already underway or currently being prepared. Many care providers have already submitted funding applications, often without having selected a technology provider. As a result, an increasing number of tenders and procurement processes are expected to be launched in the coming weeks and months. Those who are prepared will be in the best position to secure the contract.

Digital care counselling with the TeleDoc software meets the highest standards of data protection and IT security in accordance with the GDPR and Annex 31b of the Federal Master Agreement for Physicians (BMV-Ä). In addition, Docs in Clouds is listed by the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) as a certified
video service provider. As a result, our solution fulfils all requirements for legally compliant, properly documented care counselling as required under Section 37 (3) SGB XI.
