Video consultation: A digital consultation with a doctor via video, which takes place directly between the patient and the doctor – without any medical examinations.
Teleconsultation (also known as a telemedicine visit or telehome visit): A medically supervised remote examination using telemedicine devices, during which a nurse or medical professional cares for the patient on site. For example, vital signs are recorded and measures are taken under the guidance of the doctor.
In SAPV (specialized outpatient palliative care) in particular, teleconsultation enables quick decisions, fewer delays, and comprehensive medical care without hospital transport.
We are happy to offer training courses on how to use the TeleDoc Portable in conjunction with the purchase of the product. All hardware and software functions will be explained to you and your staff during the training course.
The aim of the training is to familiarize you and your staff with as many features of our TeleDoc Portable as possible and to avoid any inhibitions in using the telemedical equipment right from the start.
The physician bears overall medical responsibility for telemedical care.

We place special emphasis on the comprehensive data protection of your patients. Therefore, we use end-to-end encryption during every video consultation. This means that the video connection exists solely between the involved devices, and third parties cannot access it.
In addition, we set up a dedicated and secure MedCast Cloud for each client, where all data and documentation collected during the conversation are encrypted and stored. Access to this data is exclusively reserved for you as the client, as you have the corresponding key to decrypt and access the information. This ensures the highest level of confidentiality and security for your sensitive information.
