Our Project Involvement

With the HeimDoc project, the Medical Care Centre II (MVZ II) of Reutlingen District Clinics is bringing modern telemedicine directly into care facilities. The aim is to make medical care for people in need of care more efficient, faster, and more sustainable through digital healthcare structures.

At the heart of the project is telemedical care delivered via teleconsultations using the TeleDoc‑Mobile. The system combines video consultations with modern diagnostic technologies such as ECGs, digital stethoscopes, and portable ultrasound probes. Medical instructions and treatment decisions are documented digitally immediately after each televisit, both in the physician information system and in the care facility’s electronic patient record.

The participating physicians combine digital consultations with regular on-site visits to the facilities. The project is being implemented in close cooperation with RAH Reutlinger AltenHilfe gGmbH and BruderhausDiakonie Reutlingen.

Thanks to its modular design, HeimDoc has been developed to allow additional care facilities and office-based physicians to be integrated in the future. The project is funded by the State of Baden‑Wuerttemberg and forms part of a broader programme aimed at advancing the digitalisation of care services across the region.
